Service visit
- Record the date and time of the visit, battery type and card status.
- If coordinates were not recorded at installation, this is the last chance to get them.
Removal
- Approach the camera from the front: it will trigger and show that it was still working.
- Remove and switch off the camera, take the box off the tree.
- Fill in the SMART removal protocol: date, time, coordinates, camera ID, card number.
Names and IDs
- Camera: AREA_ID + CAMERA_ID, e.g. Carpathian National Park (AREA_ID = 18): 1801, 1802, ...
- The memory card has the same number as the camera.
- Session folder:
<Institution>_<Season>_<Year>, with a folder per camera ID inside. More: From memory card to the platform.
